Novel Fergus

Novel Fergus founded independent music label Yack Studio with @DaiShin in 2019. Rooted in Sham Shui Po district, Fergus presents Chinese culture by canto-rap with a sense of proletarian humour and value. His compelling lyrics demonstrate the beauty of a perfect immersion of Chinese literature and contemporary poetry. Fergus captivates the audience by layering the western music arrangement with his unique Naamyam (南音) singing skill.

Fergus has performed in Clockenflap in 2023, and performed in the first non-US edition Complex Con with British-American rapper 21 Savage, Taiwan’s Shou Lou and Edison Chen, in the preceding year. He achieves a milestone in Hong Kong Hip Hop scene by hosting his own solo concert '盂蘭勝會’ with over 5,000+ audiences in AsiaWorld-Expo in 2024.

Fergus himself truly believes that canton music energy can breakthrough the language restrictions more than ever.

Novel Flash 

Cantonmic, a hall-of-fame figure in Hong Kong's hip hop scene, is a three-time champion of rap battles and a leading representative of the new generation of rappers. 

He is highly sought after by both domestic and international streetwear brands, shooting promotional photos for them. In a recent year, he released a single titled "lor lor luen" on his YouTube channel under his own name, which quickly climbed to the top 25 of the music trending chart within 24 hours. 

SoWhat 

The upbeat and relaxed music style redefines the new era of hip hop. SoWhat’s unique lyrical style, combined with innovative lyrics and rhythms, attracts more listeners to immerse themselves in SoWhat's works.

In 2020, SoWhat joined Yack Studio and released the single "Gold Apple," which has since surpassed 3 million views on YouTube. 

Le Shing 

Le Shing is a 22-year-old artist hailing from the vibrant streets of Hong Kong. Shing officially began his musical journey as a member of the hip-hop collective TMG. In 2024, his talent earned him a signing with the music label Yack Studio. 

Known for his unique blend of hip-hop and R&B, Shing has captivated audiences with his smooth vocal delivery, masterful songwriting, and the ability to seamlessly switch between Cantonese and English. His artistry offers a fresh and distinctive listening experience, setting him apart in the ever-evolving world of contemporary music.With a natural gift for storytelling and a voice that resonates with both emotion and technical skill, Shing has become a rising force in the industry.
