Saxon are back with their ‘Hell, Fire and Steel UK & Ireland Tour’ which will see the band perform songs from their latest album ‘Hell, Fire and Damnation’ as well as playing their classic album ‘Wheels of Steel’ in full, for the last time alongside all their hits and fan favourites. 
To make the evening more special, Saxon have invited their great friend, Dirkschneider, formerly of Accept, to perform his classic album ‘Balls to the Wall’ in its entirety too which should make for one hell of a memorable and unique night.

Accessibility information from the venue

The City Hall has 6 seating areas available for every show for wheelchair users.  It is necessary for wheelchair seating to be booked in advance.  Please contact the box office on 0191 2612606.

Any customer booking a wheelchair seat will receive comprehensive information on access to the City Hall and it's facilities when booking.  Access to the box office is via College Street and is fully accessible.  There is no access to the Concert Bar and refreshment area for wheelchair users.  Where customers are unable to access these areas due to ambulatory difficulties, a drinks service is provided by the City Hall.  Members of staff are available and can take drink orders and arrange for then to be brought to the foyer/auditorium, on request.  There is no lift access to the balcony.  Accessible toilet available in the foyer.
