The Pogues are back with their first headline tour in 13 years to celebrate 40 years of their iconic album Rum Sodomy & the Lash, a cornerstone of punk and alternative rock, renowned for its raw energy, poetic lyrics and infectious melodies.

Featuring original members James Fearnley, Jem Finer, and Spider Stacy, with guest vocalists Daragh Lynch, Iona Zajac, John Francis Flynn, Lisa O'Neill, and Nadine Shah. Special guest musicians are Holly Mullineaux (bass), Jordan O'Leary (banjo), Fiachra Meek (pipes/whistles - Alfi), John Dermody (drums - Lankum), plus brass section Pete Fraser, Daniel Hayes, and Ian Williamson.

Accessibility information from the venue

The City Hall has 6 seating areas available for every show for wheelchair users.  It is necessary for wheelchair seating to be booked in advance.  Please contact the box office on 0191 2612606.

Any customer booking a wheelchair seat will receive comprehensive information on access to the City Hall and it's facilities when booking.  Access to the box office is via College Street and is fully accessible.  There is no access to the Concert Bar and refreshment area for wheelchair users.  Where customers are unable to access these areas due to ambulatory difficulties, a drinks service is provided by the City Hall.  Members of staff are available and can take drink orders and arrange for then to be brought to the foyer/auditorium, on request.  There is no lift access to the balcony.  Accessible toilet available in the foyer.
