The Blow Monkeys & The Christians

The Blow Monkeys are a British band known for their sophisticated blend of pop, soul, and jazz, led by charismatic frontman Dr. Robert. Rising to fame in the 1980s with hits like Digging Your Scene and It Doesn’t Have to Be This Way, they mixed sharp political lyrics with smooth, soulful sounds. Their music evolved from new wave and sophisti-pop to house and funk influences. After a hiatus, they reunited in the 2000s, continuing to release new material and tour.

Joining them are The Christians, dubbed “The Temptations in ripped jeans”, a band from Liverpool known for their soulful harmonies and socially conscious lyrics.
