Michael Blackwell is a singer-songwriter, multi instrumentalist and producer from County Durham, UK. He has spent the last few years working with artists such as Louis Tomlinson, Amber Run, Lewis Capaldi and is now ready to embark on his own solo journey. Drawing from a range of influences Blackwell’s sound combines classic singer-songwriter, 90’s grunge, 00’s indie and modern alt-pop. 

Learning guitar at a young age, Michael was inspired by his father's record collection, listening to the likes of Led Zeppelin, Cream, The Police and The Beatles. As he grew, he became obsessed with a lot of bands and artists from the 90’s such as Radiohead, Jeff Buckley, Soundgarden, Nirvana and Stone Temple Pilots cementing his love for guitar and classic songwriting.
